Ingredients

The Protein Source

  • Seitan chunks (made with 40g vital wheat gluten powder)

Homemade BBQ Sauce

  • Sieved tomato sauce (120g, canned)
  • Soy sauce or Liquid Aminos (2 tbsp)
  • Paprika powder (2-4 tbsp)
  • Apple cider vinegar (2 tbsp)
  • Sugar or zero-calorie sweetener (to taste)
  • Black pepper

Aromatics & Veggies

  • Red onions (sliced)
  • Orange carrots (chopped)
  • Dried seasonings (to taste)

Fresh Toppings

Simple Method

  1. 1Combine your 120g of sieved tomato sauce into a small pot with paprika powder, vinegar, soy sauce, and sugar, then simmer for a few minutes and taste to check if it's smoky enough.
  2. 2Add to your plate with the air-fried seitan, fresh sprouts, chopped carrots, and 1/3 of your warm BBQ sauce, then season everything with dried seasonings and top with cilantro.
